The IELTS exam is the International English Language Testing System test taken to prove your English proficiency. It is one of the most widely known and used English exams in the world. There are about 1000 IELTS testing centers in most of the countries.The purpose of the IELTS test is to provide proof of your English skills either for immigration/work purpose or academic purposes/study purpose.

Know More About IELTS Test

IELTS certificates are valid for two years

The IELTS test has two versions – Academic and General Training. The Academic test is typically for those who want to study at the tertiary level in programs which require an English proficiency score. The General Training test is typically for those who want to have work experience, training programs or migrate to an English-speaking country.

Pen and paper-based IELTS (PB IELTS): Results will be available online on the 13th day after the test date.

Computer-delivered IELTS (CD IELTS): Results will be available online within 3-5 days after the test date. 

You may take the IELTS test as many times as you like. You can use the result of the test you prefer. 

You can register for IELTS test online either with British Council or IDP To register for the lIELTS you can go to the British Council website

BC/IDP can send up to five free additional copies of your TRF directly to receiving organizations (viz. universities, immigration offices, etc) you are applying to. If you would like to do this, please include the relevant addresses when you book your test.
